I'm based in Tokyo, but I'm available for travel throughout Japan and internationally. I've visited 35+ countries and explored most prefectures across Japan. New places are actually some of my favorite places to photograph.

Every time I work in a new location, I do thorough location scouting beforehand to find the best light, quiet spots, hidden corners, and beautiful scenery for your session.

Unfortunately, I don't offer videography services.
I prefer to focus entirely on photography so I can give my full attention to capturing the moments and creating the best possible images. You're welcome to hire a videographer separately, and I'm happy to work alongside them on the day.

If you'd like the proposal moment captured on video as well, I can usually record it using my iPhone or Meta glasses. Just let me know in advance. If you'd like recommendations, I'd be happy to share a few videographers I know.

Your final gallery will be delivered around 3 weeks after your session.

You'll receive your images through an online gallery, where you can download and share your photos. I kindly ask that all images be downloaded within one month of delivery.

For proposal sessions, I usually send a few sneak peeks within a couple of days after the shoot.

Unfortunately, I don't provide RAW files or unedited images.
I consider them an unfinished product, and editing is a big part of what makes my work feel like my work.
Every image in your gallery is carefully selected and edited with intention, so hopefully you won't miss the RAWs at all :)

As long as I'm available, I'm always happy to reschedule for better weather.
If rescheduling isn't possible and the weather is too extreme to safely proceed, I will provide a full refund.

That said, most of the time we can make it work, either by adjusting the date or embracing the rain. Some of my favorite images have actually been taken on rainy days.

Family sessions can be a little unpredictable, but that's often where the magic happens. Some of my favorite moments come from simply letting kids be themselves.

I do photograph in the city and at night, although I tend to avoid very crowded areas such as Shibuya and Shinjuku.

I have a few hair and makeup artists, kimono rental companies, and other vendors that I've worked with before and would be happy to recommend.

While I'm happy to make introductions, communication and booking arrangements will need to be handled directly with the vendor.
